Gail has a wealth of experience as a Counsellor practising for over 20 years working with children, young people, adults, couples, and families.
Gail is a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).
With an interest in affective science, Gail spent her formative years combining working in the commercial sector with her voluntary work as a Samaritan. Gail qualified in individual counselling in 1997 (AEB/CSCT Combined Certificate in Counselling) and then as a couple therapist in 2006 with Relate. She has recently gained her Certificate in Online and Telephone Counselling with Counselling Tutor (July 2020).
Since 2009 she has worked with children and young people within both the state and independent school sector across London and Hertfordshire. She has developed and delivered many training workshops and courses for health authorities, business, and voluntary sectors; including Parenting Skills, Living with Teenagers, (accredited by the Open College Network Central England); Taking Charge of your Life; Peer Listening; Bullying; and Bereavement Programmes.
Gail joined The Psychology Practice as an Associate in January 2021, in the role of Counsellor for TPP’s Well-Being Service provided to St Helen’s School, Northwood. Alongside this she runs her own private practice as an integrative counsellor as well as managing a Bereavement Support Group for her local community.
