Caroline Cohen has been a practising Educational Psychologist since September 1998.
She graduated from Leeds University in 1993 with a first-class honours degree in Psychology before undertaking a Post Graduate Certificate of Education at Leicester University in 1995. Caroline then worked for 2 years as a teacher in a multi-cultural inner-city school before completing her MSc in Educational Psychology at the Institute of Education in 1998.
Caroline began her career as an Educational Psychologist in the London Borough of Harrow where she worked for 18 years until 2016. During this time, Caroline worked with a range of educational establishments, both in the mainstream and specialist settings, assessing and supporting the emotional, social and academic development of children and young adults aged 2 years to 18 years. Caroline was also involved in the development and delivery of a variety of training resources for educational settings and parents. These allowed staff and key individuals to gain a greater understanding of a variety of issues in learning (e.g. dyslexia, dyscalculia, learning styles, processing difficulties, autism).
For the past 10 years, Caroline has worked independently within both the state and independent sectors.
Caroline joined The Psychology Practice as an Associate in January 2018, and alongside this runs her own private practice.
